Update for Nov. 2012.

Dear friends,

I am currently working hard on album #3! Can’t wait for you to hear it. Things have been a bit quiet on the ol’ website, and that is why! We’ll catch up more when I have some new music in tow.

I am also going to be in a documentary about ALS that I’m looking forward to sharing with you. It is still in the works as well, but if you’d like to check out the guys behind it, go visit The Yellow Bird Project and you can even buy a t-shirt I designed for them with proceeds going to support ALS research and patient care. In July, we put on a concert at the Royal BC Museum in Victoria, B.C., that will be part of the documentary. Here are a few photos from that amazing amazing evening, filled with all of my pals. It was a stunning setting, and I’m extremely grateful to the museum for hosting us. My friends in The New Pornographers came and played, as did my friends from Immaculate Machine days, as did my friends in MY band, PLUS we had a killer crew of folks involved, from flowers to photos to artwork and beyond (sound, cameras, lights, loaders, table movers, greeters, huggers, pita pit getters) who all worked really hard to make it a success. After party was at Ferris’ Oyster bar (if you’re ever in Victoria, you need to try their brownie… it’s worth it.) In summary, I’ll be sure to let you know when the documentary is ready for release!

Things will be ramping up again soon, and until then, happy internetting :)

Love, K
